Designs by LaMuir ~ Harry Potter Cake

 Happy Birthday Amanda!
I know this may not be the best cake, but it was fun learning how to make some of the elements!
For the scarf I cut red and yellow pieces of thin fondant, overlapped them just a bit, and
proceeded to roll them with the rolling pin to help them stick together!
I didnt have the brown dust I needed for the pages, to give them the depth and dimension they needed, so I used my paint brush and dipped  it into the coloring paste.

I have not had a chance to see the movie, but i received an order for Maleficent.
Soooo here she is! found an amazing tutorial on youtube, and voila!

Brittany the Birthday Girl loved it!
That is worth all the blood, sweat and tears that went into the cake!
Everything is edible except for the flowers.

Designs by LaMuir ~ Army Strong Cake

A friends son just left for basic training.
His mom had a going away party for him with family and friends.
So many showed up to support him.
What a Blessing to have a young man with such great character decide to join the U.S Army.
And an even bigger blessing that so many showed up to support him, and will
continue to support him in prayer!!

Good Luck J.C.!!
We are all thinking of you back home!!

Designs by LaMuir ~ Frozen Themed Cup Cakes

How precious are these cute cup cakes?
White cup cakes, white butter cream icing, and just a hint of sprinkles.

I had so much fun making these cute cup cake picks!!
printed the characters on whisper white cardstock, punched them out with a 1-1/4 punch,
punched out the glitter paper with 1-3/8 punch and the tempting turquoise with the scallop punch!
I think they turned out supper cute!!!
Happy Birthday Lily!
