May Stamp~a~Stack

I have been working really hard getting everything ready for our Stamp~a~Stack before I go on the big trip with the children.

Here are 3 of the cards we are doing, let me know what you think.

Hey there ya'll, it has been a few days since my last post, but let me show you what I have been working on!!

these are the cute little cake toppers for my childrens b-day, they are turning 11 on May 1st, and I am surprising them with a trip to Orlando, but am telling them a little bit of a story, and telling them how we can not go to Magic Kingdom, we are just going down for a meeting with a Stampin' Up! friend! Thanks Zanne for the great cover story there.

Bride and Groom Cutting the cake!

The Happy Couple cutting the cake, they had so much fun and truely enjoyed their Wedding Day as well as the Reception! Best Wishes to you both.

the photographer took this picture, I thought it was gorgeous, so I am posting it, but it turned out just gorgeous!

Wedding Dec. '08 ~ Hinesville Ga.

I just love weddings!!!
These pictures are from a wedding in December that I had the honor of helping with, for a dear sweet friend. This is a picture of the cake that I did for the Bride, very simple, but she was very pleased with the cake. I was able to help decorate as well, and have no pictures of that, I lost my camera, in all the cleaning and packing things up, the camera went a different way then i did!

This is part of the Wedding Ensemble that we did for the December Bride,
Programs, Thank Yous, Party Favors which included CD's with the Bride & Grooms favorite songs, as well as Coasters tied with a ribbon ~ with a cute little ThankYou on each one. We also had Frames that reserved the tables for family and friends, Great day for a Great Couple!!
The CD cover was a gated gold style, very elegant, and different all of the guests were very pleased.

The Tile coasters were so fun to do, and the guests were thrilled with them. and with each of them having their own personal thank you on it was a nice touch.

Wedding Cake Oct. 4th, "R"

This is the wedding cake I did for the smaller wedding I did in Oct. I know it is hard to see detail with the Ivory on Ivory, but it turned out very nicely, just like the picture that the Bride picked out. The bottom layer had a Raspberry filling, and the middle layer had a lemon filling. Yummy!!

Wedding Oct. '08 ~ Savannah, Ga

This is a sweet little Wedding Ensemble I did for a lady at church, we didnt have time for Save the Dates, so we did the Invitations, Thank You's and Party Favors!
the Bride loved the Gated Fold Invite that I had done for my Sister~in~Laws wedding invitations, so we did them for her as well,.

The Bride just loved the Monogram stamp, so that is what we did, it was a little bit of a chore to cut out all of the Floral wreaths, but I did them, anything to make the Bride happy!

The colors are Always Artichoke & Very Vanilla

October Wedding '08 Savannah, Ga.

This was a beautiful Program for a dear couple, I had gotten the idea off of SCS, dont remember from who. Didnt it turn out just wonderful?

Here are the Save the Dates, Invitations, & RSVP cards
The Bride picked gorgeous colors for a Gorgeous Fall Wedding.
On the Save the Date card, we put a magnet covering the date of the wedding, so that the magnet could be used for the fridge and the card would still have the information on it.
The Brides Thank You cards, everything tied so nicely together.
the colors were Stampin' Up! Chocolate Chip, Really Rust & Very Vanilla.

Wedding Sept. '09 Savannah Ga.

These pictures are from a Wedding Reception I helped with, I made the menu's, Part favors, and and the Frames.
The little Nosegays, were filled with M&M's, and had a little monogramed sticker on them to seal them.

Beautiful place settings

I made several frames to reserve tables for the Bridal party & Families.

I used the Bleach technique on the frames, they turned out wonderful.

Then menus were a bit of a challange, I used the Illuminations Stamp Set, using the Hope image, I took a piece of paper to cover the "P", and then hand wrote the "L" to make the couples last name "Hale", I did 175 which was a task, but I would do it again, they turned out beautifully, and the Bride was happy, and that is all that mattered.

Faux Tile Card

Hey there, just wanted to share my latest creation. i had a great time designing this card, I actually desinged to teach a technique class while on a retreat this past Feb. We had such a great time with this card, and I loved it so much, I thought I would submit it to Stampin' Up! for the WoW! Art File contest. wish me luck, we find out by mid May if it will be in the July issue!
here are the instructions for the card.

WOW! Art file May 2009

Supplies:
Friends 24-7 set; Lovely Lilac, Old Olive, Very Vanilla Card Stock; Lovely Lilac Classic Stampin’ Pad; VersaMark Pad; Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Old Olive ¼ Gross Grain Ribbon; Sticky Strip, SNAIL Adhesive.

Tools:
Stampin’ Up! Paper Cutter,( using Bone Folder to make score lines); Heat Tool, Powder Pals,

Faux Tile Technique:
Take 3 ¾ x3 3 ¾ square Very Vanilla Card Stock,
Place Diagonally on the groove of the Paper Cutter, use Bone Folder to obtain a nice deep score line, reposition card stock on the 1” mark and the 2” mark. Do the same to the other side of the center score line. Turn and repeat steps. Stamp Image lightly so that you do not stamp inside the score lines. Ink Card Stock with the VersaMark Pad, sprinkle with Clear Emboss Powder, using the Heat Tool to set the Clear Emboss Powder.
Tip: Use Sticky Strip to secure the embossed Card Stock, it will prevent the ends from pulling away from the card.
