  Went out on the lake last week, I really have fun just watching

the children out on the tube, with Stuart trying to throw them off with all of

harsh maneuvers  on the water!!!  Well on this particular day Preston decided to "knee board",

they are usually wake boarding or skiing!  Well, while watching Preston, I decide....heck I can do that!!!
Now let me just say, I am forty-something, have 16 year old QUADRUPLETS, have had 3 back surgeries among other things. I don't usually get in on the action, I am the picture taker!!
But not this day, I decided I had to show these Teenagers that there momma has skills too!!!
Okay, Okay so I wasn't doing the 360's that their dad was doing, but hey, give me some credit, cause after all this time I decided to get out of my comfy seat on the boat and have a little fun of my own!!

 

So here I go, getting into the water, I am thinking this might not

have been the best idea in the world. (that water was a little cold too)  Then I hear Stuart say to Stephanie... "get the camera ready, you are gonna want to take pictures of this"!!

Then I thought seriously what am I doing???

 



Well here we go..... I am going to tame this big bad knee board!!!



Now keep in mind, it has been 17 years since I have gotten up on a knee board,

and since then I have had "QUADRUPLETS", along with several back surgeries!!!

So what was I really thinking?

 I was thinking............ I got this!!!!!   After all was said and done, I was able to get up and enjoy the ride!!!!  Had to post pictures because I am not sure I will ever do it again!!!

  We had a Special Baby Shower for a co-worker this past weekend!

She has 2 older boys and surprise here comes a little Princess!!

Had to share the precious cake I made for the occasion!

Had such a Great time, baking and praying for a healthy little girl!!!

  This cake was such a "Hoot" to make!!! I loved it so very much!!!

Received another Facebook message from someone who had been to a party in which I decorated

the cake. The lady said could you make me a cake, sends me a picture of the invitation and a cake she found online, I married the two and this is what I came up with!!!

Her husband was at the venue to receive the cake, and the Mommy to be was getting ready,

Cant wait to hear from her and see how she liked the cake, and if it met her expectations!!!

love the chevron's, and the ruffles on the side were fun!!!

Oh I really loved making the little owl family!!!

I just love the Frozen themed cakes!!!

I must admit that one of the reasons I love the Frozen cakes so much,

is that I get to watch the movie over and over again to make sure I am

totally inspired to make the perfect cake!!!

Although I will say that Chloe's Mommy did send me a picture

of the cake she wanted!! (shhh..I still had to watch the movie thought!)

Was a Hit, and cant wait to make more cakes for her sisters in the near future!!

 I am having such a great time decorating cakes right now!!!!

Someone contacted me about making her daughters cake, and you know

I said Of Course I can!!!

this was just the cutest cake ever!!!!

Loved the ruffle on the bottom, the fondant bow, and the Minnie Mouse Ears!!!

Looks like Braxtyn, loved it too!!!

She was sticking her cute little fingers in the cake,

she just couldn't wait, so I put some frosting on a little plate for her

and she thought that was the greatest!!!!

Deisgns by LaMuir ~ Happy 100th Birthday Card!

  I recently was called by a sweet lady, a friend of a friend.

She asked if I could make her a special card, I said well of course I can!!

So she then explained that the card would be for her

Granddaughters husbands grandmother!  say that 3 times fast!! 

She is turning 100 and they are going to give her a "Card Shower"!!

 

So this is the card that I came up with, of course you know that I went

looking through Stampin' Up!s website looking for ideas.

Found one similar to this card, changed a few things to make it my own.

Isn't this a great way to have a little different closure to the card,

I used Labels Collection Framelits on page 231 of the Annual Catalog.

The Framelits coordinate with the Apothecary Art stamp set found on page 57.

Love this stamp set, I have used it so much, I just love it!!!!!!

Did I mention I love this stamp set??  Sorry, I just had to say it again.

 

I used the blender pens to give a nice shaded color on the flowers!

Made this super cute cake last week for a Co-workers Grandaughters 1st Birthday!

Absolutely enjoyed making this super fun cake!

Everything on the cake is edible except the little figurines.

 

And just loved the little smash cake!!! too cute for words!!!
