SoftBall Mania!!!!

WoW, is one of the only ways I can describe this years Softball Season with the Lady Rebels!
Practices, games, & tons of fun!!!!!  Wait did I say Practices???? Our Lady Rebels worked so very hard this year, practices 4 days a week, games in between and sometimes even on Saturdays!

I was honored to be able to make the cakes for this years Family night! There are always sooooo many fans that show up, we needed to make sure we had enough cake to go around!

This was the main cake, that had everything from Softballs laying in the grass, to the chalk lines in the red dirt! (Steph made the red dirt, by adding red food coloring to brown sugar)

I didn't want the girls & coaches to have to wait for the cake to be cut, so I made them each a cup cake with a soft ball on it! The enjoyed them so very much!!!

Made just a plane chocolate sheet cake as an extra to make sure we had plenty!

Isn't this Banner the best! Renee one of the other Mom's made this, complete with a softball for each girl with their #!!! Way to Go Renee, you are awesome Girl!

The girls were each introduced, with music being played and everything!

There is Steph getting ready for a play in Left Field. She did a Great job!!!

after each game both teams get together hold hands, and say a pray. Thanking God that all went well and no one was hurt during the game, and for traveling mercies for the team that has to travel home.

Awards Ceremony, each girl was presented with a Carnation, and a Back Pack with the teams Logo filled with all sorts of goodies!

We let the players line up for Pizza & Cupcakes first, Everyone had more then enough to eat! And I think they enjoyed every bite! once they got to eat that is. 8-)

Steph and Team Mate Miranda! Eating their cup cakes!!!
What a fun year, this is our last week of practices and then this weekend starts the Championship Tournaments!!! Wish 'em Luck!

LaMuir Baze ~ Tons of Teachers Gifts!

I know I made these cute Teacher Gifts last month, but I finally got around to posting all the ones I actually made for all the teachers.

There are 17 in all, I think between all the Teacher's, Coache's & Connections Teachers, I made one for every teacher in the 8th grade.  But that is OK, I enjoy making little gifts for them to show them that they are appreciated by us! They all work so hard!!!!

Designs by LaMuir ~ Country Rooster Gift

WoW, it has been a while since my last post! Things get so crazy around here keeping up with the children's busy schedule, sometimes I just don't have a lot of time to do the fun stuff like Stampin'!!!!

But today I made time to stamp a bit and have lunch with a friend!
I had lunch with a friend today at the most precious little coffee shop in Blue Ridge! O' it was soooooo yummy, a Strawberry Pecan Salad with Raspberry vinaigrette dressing, and a small cup of Tomato Basil Soup! Did I say it was yummy?  Well, my friend just loves Rooster's so I thought I would take her a little gift I had picked up and thought it would be cute if I made her some little note cards to match the rooster on the little plate that I found!

Simple but Cute Plate I found while shopping somewhere, and it matches her kitchen perfect!

All wrapped up and tied with a bow! I just love the 1 1/4"  Cherry Cobbler striped grosgrain ribbon, it matches her kitchen perfectly as well!
The stamp is from an older Hostess Set ~ Country Morning, I thought I would bring it out of retirement for this special occasion!  Just love our friend, she has been so helpful with our move and what not,
just a little way to say "Thank You!

LaMuir Baze ~ North Carolina Regional w/Stampin' Up!

What a fun weekend!  I drove up to NC, for the Stampin' Up! Regional!
This is just a portion of the line waiting for the doors to open and for the Convention to start!

Here is Lynn with her guest Beth, Lynn is a part of my Stampin' Team from Savannah!

Here is Lynn with Janet W. from PA, Janet is one of our Team Leaders! I am Janet's 4th Line and Lynn is Janet's 5th Line! and Janet wants to meet and help each of us achieve great things!

Lynn & Beth Stampin during the Make-n-Take session!  O' what fun!

This is what it is all about folks.......watching the demonstrations on the Big Screen that are done on stage! To make sure that everyone in the room can see, Tom the camera man stands over the demonstrator with his camera! and we all take pics so we don't forget how to do it!
Isn't that the cutest little bat you ever did see?

Here is another one of my team members from Savannah, Melissa D.
Melissa and Shelli are taking a moment to remember the great time we had in Savannah, when she came to my house for "The Work Shop of a Lifetime"
Then she signed the picture for Melissa!

Getting pictures with Shelli is like having the paparazzi around you never know where to look! Cameras snapping in all directions, I will have to get Evelyn to send me the pic she took, I think that is the camera Shelli was looking at!

Seeing other wonderful friends from Savannah, this is Lucia G. O' such a sweet lady, loved catching up with her!

O' and I did get to stamp as well! Cute cards!!!!!!
I think it is safe to say.........Fun was had by all!
If you too would like to have this much fun, just come and join my team!

LaMuir Baze ~ A Super Size Thinking of You!

Here is a Super Sized Thinking of You Card! One of Stephanie's team mates has a sister who was in a very serious car accident on the 2nd Day of school. This young lady is a senior this year, and will be in the hospital for many weeks to come if not months!  One of the mothers wanted to do something special for her and her family.  So everyone is chipping in, So I thought ~ I can make a card for the Softball team to sign. (and we have a lot of girls on the team)

Sooooooo I though well I will make a Big Card, so here it is,  not knowing the young lady myself, I asked one of our moms to pick out what she liked best.  She picked out the very appropriate Thinking of you with the wonderful tree! Well I don't have a stamp that big, and I didn't have any of the Decor Elements wall vinyl on hand, so I took my handy dandy little machine that magnifies images, taped the poster board to the wall, and traced the tree, and the Words, then copied the card pretty much from the Idea Book & Catalog the best that I could considering the large scale of things.
Just to show you how large the card is, I place a regular sized card next to it measuring at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Now that is a Large Card! I pray that it helps her find strength during her recovery knowing that we all care so deeply for her during her recovery! Our Prayers are with you Dear One!
