LaMuir Baze ~ Merry Christmas Gift Bag!

Merry Christmas!
A friend needed a "hand made" gift for her work gift exchange, and not having the time to do anything herself....she asked me if I could whip something up for her!

Now this gift bag is a total case from the Stampin' Success but I thought it would be Great to do and something that I could do rather quickly. I gathered up an assortment of all occasional cards with envelopes, bundled them together, and voila!

I really liked the way it turned out!

I know it has been such a long time since my last post, but with going back to work part~time, moving to our new house, doing a few renovations,  Preston's wrestling schedule, Family coming from Dallas, Tx for Thanksgiving, Stephanie's broken hand from a 4-wheeler accident.......and that is just to name a few, I have been rather busy!!!!  Yes I have managed to stamp some in between the chaos, just haven't had the time to take pics and post!

Change of Season's Ladies Tea ~ Temple Baptist Church

O' How I Just Love Making Things for Special Events!
Well tomorrow is a very special event at our church!
We are having a Ladies Tea tomorrow afternoon! Of course you know
I had to offer to help out by doing whatever was needed.
I offered to make a little something for the ladies to be able to
take home with them as a keep~sake.
Here are the Bookmarks I came up with, nothing too fancy,
but the simple elegance with the simple verse lets them know that
This is for them at this time in their lives!

They may be going through some of the hardest trials in their lives, or in the middle of a
Great Season. No matter what the "Season", when they see this, they will always
remember that as it says in the Scriptures

To Every Thing
There is a Season,
and a time to
every purpose
under the Heaven:

Ecclesiastes 3:1

I made a total of 133 Bookmarks for 133 very Special Ladies!

It's Been A While!

O' My goodness, it is has been a while since I last posted!

Well let's get updated here a little.............

We closed on our new house last week, and moved over the weekend!  Thanks to our Awesome Teenagers!! They helped out so much, it really made the move a lot easier!  This is the first time in so many years that we had to move ourselves so it was a bit of a challenge, and of course the Closing was delayed a week, and that was the one week that I actually had to work every day!

Work is going well, Periodontal Surgery is a very interesting as well as challenging experience, but I am loving every bit of it, and only actually work 2.5 ~ 3.5 days a week, not so bad, and the family seems to have adjusted well!

I will get some pictures posted hopefully this week with all the new things that are going on!  and the new classes that are coming up!

Designs by LaMuir ~ And Stockings Are Hung.....

Isn't this just the cutest little card?  I just love it! Looks like the Stocking is Hung on the Holly Branch!
Used the cute little Jingle Bells, out of the Holiday Mini, along with the great Glitter Paper!

Want to make cute cards like this, give me a shout! I have 2 Different Card Classes each month!

Designs by LaMuir ~ A Cheer Thing!

I just love being asked to great little gifts for the Softball Team or the Cheer Leaders!
This past weekend, my friend Dawn asked me to come up with an idea for the Cheer Leaders! She wanted something that would let them know how much they are appreciated, and so that the could put them in their scrapbooks. Well, we came up with the this cute Pennant Idea!

These are only for the 8th grade girls on the squad, that will be going onto High School next year!

I think they turned out really cute!

I used the Stampin' Dimensional's to give a little bit of height to the FCMS,
Punched out 2 different size dots out of Stampin' Ups! Glitter Paper! Just love it!

Last month I had made buttons for the Softball Team for Family Night, that was also a night in which the coaches and parents recognized all the 8th graders on the team. Our Principle of the school handed them out to each of the girls while in class during school, and the girls wore them all day, and then at the game, when the girls had to take them off, most of the mothers wore the buttons in honor of their daughter!
I just realized I hadn't posted a pick of it, so here it is!

SoftBall Mania!!!!

WoW, is one of the only ways I can describe this years Softball Season with the Lady Rebels!
Practices, games, & tons of fun!!!!!  Wait did I say Practices???? Our Lady Rebels worked so very hard this year, practices 4 days a week, games in between and sometimes even on Saturdays!

I was honored to be able to make the cakes for this years Family night! There are always sooooo many fans that show up, we needed to make sure we had enough cake to go around!

This was the main cake, that had everything from Softballs laying in the grass, to the chalk lines in the red dirt! (Steph made the red dirt, by adding red food coloring to brown sugar)

I didn't want the girls & coaches to have to wait for the cake to be cut, so I made them each a cup cake with a soft ball on it! The enjoyed them so very much!!!

Made just a plane chocolate sheet cake as an extra to make sure we had plenty!

Isn't this Banner the best! Renee one of the other Mom's made this, complete with a softball for each girl with their #!!! Way to Go Renee, you are awesome Girl!

The girls were each introduced, with music being played and everything!

There is Steph getting ready for a play in Left Field. She did a Great job!!!

after each game both teams get together hold hands, and say a pray. Thanking God that all went well and no one was hurt during the game, and for traveling mercies for the team that has to travel home.

Awards Ceremony, each girl was presented with a Carnation, and a Back Pack with the teams Logo filled with all sorts of goodies!

We let the players line up for Pizza & Cupcakes first, Everyone had more then enough to eat! And I think they enjoyed every bite! once they got to eat that is. 8-)

Steph and Team Mate Miranda! Eating their cup cakes!!!
What a fun year, this is our last week of practices and then this weekend starts the Championship Tournaments!!! Wish 'em Luck!

LaMuir Baze ~ Tons of Teachers Gifts!

I know I made these cute Teacher Gifts last month, but I finally got around to posting all the ones I actually made for all the teachers.

There are 17 in all, I think between all the Teacher's, Coache's & Connections Teachers, I made one for every teacher in the 8th grade.  But that is OK, I enjoy making little gifts for them to show them that they are appreciated by us! They all work so hard!!!!

Designs by LaMuir ~ Country Rooster Gift

WoW, it has been a while since my last post! Things get so crazy around here keeping up with the children's busy schedule, sometimes I just don't have a lot of time to do the fun stuff like Stampin'!!!!

But today I made time to stamp a bit and have lunch with a friend!
I had lunch with a friend today at the most precious little coffee shop in Blue Ridge! O' it was soooooo yummy, a Strawberry Pecan Salad with Raspberry vinaigrette dressing, and a small cup of Tomato Basil Soup! Did I say it was yummy?  Well, my friend just loves Rooster's so I thought I would take her a little gift I had picked up and thought it would be cute if I made her some little note cards to match the rooster on the little plate that I found!

Simple but Cute Plate I found while shopping somewhere, and it matches her kitchen perfect!

All wrapped up and tied with a bow! I just love the 1 1/4"  Cherry Cobbler striped grosgrain ribbon, it matches her kitchen perfectly as well!
The stamp is from an older Hostess Set ~ Country Morning, I thought I would bring it out of retirement for this special occasion!  Just love our friend, she has been so helpful with our move and what not,
just a little way to say "Thank You!
