Happy Birthday Dear Julie ~ Happy Birthday to YOUUUUU!

 

One of  the girls friends turned 13 last week, and I was honored to be asked to make her cake!

She loves Hot Pink & Zebra Stripes, and she liked the cake I did for Shelby in May, said Jenn, Julies mom.

This is what I came up with, I also made Cup Cakes for her wtih the same frosting. 

She Loved the Cake and had a Fabulous Birthday Party!!!!!

Back in May.......O' My Word, has it been that long???

Well, like I was saying back in May, I had to fly back to Savannah, Ga. to see my Back Surgeon for my follow up after my neck surgery, and I was Blessed to be able to stay with my friend Beth while I was there!

We had a Great time Stamping with both of our Customers, and then eating and shopping!  Fun was had by All that is for sure!

 Well on my way home, I had some time to spare in the O' so Big Savannah Airport, and I saw this cute little plaque, and I thought O' how sweet, so I picked it up and have meant to make a card every since, well finally last week, I made a card!

  I hope Beth likes it, now all I have to do is remember to send it!

LaMuir Baze ~ Sexy Cards ~ Oooo~La~La!

Ahhhhhh, my Dear Hubby is so sweet to give me such a cute card!  That is what I said to myself.............

then I Opened the card!

 And I thought..........hmmmmmmmm O' My Goodness!
I am so glad he feels that way! I enjoyed it as well!!!

 So then I thought hmmm, I really need to get Stuart a card!  And I thought, I just really can not buy one, so what can I make?  And this is what I came up with!  What do you think?

I used his favorite color, Pacific Point, and trimmed it with Black Satin ribbon!

Wanted a bit of texture so I brayered the Vintage Wall Paper Embossing Folder with Basic Black Ink, to give it just a hint of antiquing. Used eyelets to reinforce the card stock for the grosgrain ribbon to go through.

Stamped it with a sentiment from the Word Play Stamp Set, 

and I thought I had better take the picture before I write my little note back to Stuart, Just Imagine what a girl can write in response................................. the possibilities are endless!!!!

3 new additions to our family! We won 3 new Honda Odysseys on our latest Ebay auction.

Drove to Indianapolis, Indiana to pick them up! So while we were up north we thought.....hmmmm what else can we do?  And we found an Awesome Amusement Park to go to, Kings Island in Cincinnati, OH.

First Ride of the Day!!! O' My word, I am so very glad that I was not able to safely ride these rides!

 All strapped in and ready to go!

 Delirium...........More like Delirious!!!!!!!!!!!

can you see them, they are in the first and 2nd car. they had so much fun!

 OK, Stephanie and I are the only smart ones, we didn't not want to go on the Wooden Roller Coaster!

 Everyone else went on it though.  Hands Up!!!

 This was The Racer, the wooden Roller Coaster, or some of it anyway!

 WoW, look at those rides!!!!!!!! they had such fun on most of them!

 Stuart and I after taking those great shots from 350 feet in the air! we were on our way down!

 The next day on our way home, we found and A&W where we stopped to eat lunch! I grew up with A&W's, and just loved sharing the experience with the family!

 Woooo Hoooo, where's the food!!!!!!!!!

What a Great end to our little vacation!

I just love the 4th of July!

and loved making this patriotic card.

(of course I am a little partial to the Army) ;-D

Used the Chunky Glitter on the big star and Dazzling Diamonds on the blue star and tieing them all together with the glittzy garland. for a little Bling

 Watching the Fireworks on the Boat was a wonderful way to spend the night!

Our town Celebrated Sat. July 2nd with a wonderful FireWorks Display

On the boat with My Hubby!

While the children layed on the tubes to watch the Fire Works! 

Then home for some FireWorks of our own, 

 What a Great way to spend the Holiday!
