Fall In Love Reception Cake!

Love, Love, I have just fallin' in Love with this cake!!
A friend of mine recently eloped with her family and new husband.
Well needless to say the brides mother wasn't that happy about it.
She decided to give them a Wedding Reception.
Since it is Fall, they went with the Fall theme and this is what we created!

Simple, but elegant, and we used the silk leaves which of course saved my behind!!
I loved it though, very similar to a cake I did a few weeks ago.
Best Wedding Wishes to the Bride, Groom & Children
May this be a Blessed Family!!

How to Tame Your Dragon Cake with Toothless

How cute is this?  Toothless eating a basket of fish!!!
Had so much fun making this cake!
Had a little bit of a challenge making Toothless and his friend,
I worked for a couple of days and finally I concurred them both,
I made a trip to the store and purchased them!!
I know, I know, but poor Toothless was not working for me!
I felt so bad, I called Owen's mom and was like, I am soooooo sorry, would he ever forgive me?

Thought the Rock name was a cool touch!
Now as you can see I did make the basket with the fish falling out of it,
that was really fun. All and All this was a successful delivery!

It's Twins!!!!!!!!! ~ Designs by LaMuir

What a great day!!!!! I was able to make a cake for a baby shower for TWINS!!!
It was a rustic theme, could you tell by the rough frosting and burlap rose?

Oh Let me tell ya, these ladies went all out for this Baby Shower!!
I fell in love with all of the décor, banners, party favors, you name it I loved it!!
And what could be cuter then a clothes line with Baby Clothes hanging from it????
I used the cute Owl Builder Punch by Stampin' Up! and tied the close line with the Bakers Twine!!

Too cute, just love it.

Oh my goodness, this Burlap Flower is amazing!!!!!!
Funny story, the mommy to be sent me a picture of what she wanted for the shower cake,
I saw this cute, simple little Burlap Flower and thought "piece of cake"!
So at the last minute, I run down stairs to the Stampin' Studio to make my little flower,
an hour later still have not flower!!!!! I couldn't make the darn thing!
Soooo I say will I have to run, and deliver a cake before this one is due, I will just stop by WalMart and pick up one that is already done!!!!
No Siree, there was not one in the store!!! I sent Shelby one way and I went another with no luck.
Well by this time I have got to go so I can deliver this cute Rustic Cake!!
On the way home, I am like Shelby I just don't know what I am going to do!!!!!! almost in tears!!!
Shelby says well let me see your phone and I will look at the youtube videos and see if I can figure it out. So she looks watches a few videos, and we get home she runs down to the Stampin' Studio and whips up this amazing Burlap Flower!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Shelby, once again my go to girl saves the day (and the cake too)!

He stayed up til 2am playing poker with the grandchildren!!!

Designs by LaMuir ~ Blue Tractor Cake!

Just love getting cake orders from people I have never met!!
This cake was ordered by a lady that works at the hospital with a facebook friend. Now keep in mind I don't even really know the facebook friend, my husband works with the hospital, and before their Medi-vac helicopter base was built the pilots and med crews were stationed in the Labor & Delivery unit of our local hospital.  The Helicopter pad is stationed right out the side door of the Labor & Delivery unity.
Having said all of that, a lady that knows my husband requested to be a friend on facebook, and of course I accepted, well she follows me and sees all of the cakes that I bake, and gave my name to her co-worker saying that I make amazing cakes!!!

Well today is the day I delivered the Blue Tractor cake for my new friend Lisa's son Jax!!
Lisa and her husband were so excited that I was able to make the cake that their little boy wanted!

Cant wait to hear if they liked the taste!!!

Thought I would give our little blue tractor a name.....
How about Jax, just like the birthday boy?

What a super cute presentation!!!!
Our little blue tractor cake fit right in!!
